A silent one
I like to listen
Really truly wholly listen.
To engage with the person
Sitting across
form a human connect
I speak less
Not because I have nothing to say
But because
Mindless conversations
ring hollow in my ears.
In a world full of talkers, I listen.
But one day
I'll speak in hope for change.
