We have all heard “Aim for the moon and you will land among the stars”. But for that, we need to pass through the sky, a journey filled with trials and tribulations, joys and sorrows, twists and turns, but most importantly, with no assurance of even making it through. As fabled by our ancestors, the first 90% of the journey is easy but the rest 10% is the most difficult part and the sky rightly lies in the end of the journey.

Black is the colour which is famed to signify negativity and evil whereas the blue signifies a deep sense of calmness and satisfaction. We work hard day in, day out and through those long tiresome nights in a small hope of reaching our targets, meeting those never-ending deadlines, to get promotions, earn a lot and finally, settle down in life with enough satisfaction to last a lifetime. But does life ever lead to such a conventional ending?

A study has revealed that most rich people are insanely lonely and crave for contentment. High divorce rates, family instability, health issues (like insomnia), all stem up from the insane rush for money. But the perusal of billionaires like Warren buffet, Bill Gates etc. has given us enough evidence which makes us realise that they spend most of their fortunes in philanthropic activities. This leads us to the conclusion that even though they got what they worked for, the sky didn’t give them the satisfaction they so longingly seek and instead, leads to a vicious cycle of ‘keeping up the process of money making’. Only after being mundane with the ‘deceptive nature of the colour of the sky’, they begin to find tranquillity by enjoying life more by sharing and caring.

Concluding this, I would just say that life is not as rosy as it seems, so start enjoying the small joys of life like spending time with loved ones or something even as simple as staring at the stars. Believe me, a common repentance most people in their death bed contemplate about is that they should have been happier with life. So, stop complaining and start living life to the fullest.
