Everybody passes through that phase where one feels that life is pointless and monotonous. Those are the times when we feel frustrated, low and dejected. It is natural that for every trough there is a crest. If this is your life's trough, where is the crest? They are the moments when we are absolutely in love with our life. Suddenly life seems to be full of possibilities. The impulse to do something fills each and every vein of ours. Those moments are so powerful that it can change the way you look at the society and yourself .
As I look back I can see the changes those “crest moments”have made in me. Some of the changes were intentional while many others were unintentional. Life situations catalysing these changes were many. As I turn a year more older, looking at those stepping stones gives utmost satisfaction. Many of these stages are inevitable for a constructive transformation of the stage.

Financial independence

Virginia Woolf once said “a woman must have money and a room of her own if she is to write fiction”. I believe that to be true in every endeavour undertaken by a women. With money comes autonomy. That autonomy can teach you to be fearless, independent and opinionated .

Becoming an atheist & political

Religion though soothing holds many traps. It makes you less intelligent and confident . Ditching religion one can embrace freedom. And politics makes you more insightful about the ways of the society. No sane person would want to sit in a glass house oblivious of the outside world . Having a political opinion make you more of a social animal that a mere living being.

Lonely paths.

Your lonely paths can be the solo journeys you undertake or the unconventional decisions you make in your life. Robert frost had once said “ he took the less travelled road and it had made all the difference”. Yes, when you shut down the million voices murmuring around your life becomes more about you than others.Travelling alone( physically/ hypothetically) gives time to look into ourselves and mend our ways for the better.

Being the rebellious kid

Reacting to politically incorrect statements -be it inside the family or classroom- will surely make you the lone black sheep. But these reactions can teach you to voice against injustices for yourself as well as others. Silence only nourishes oppression. So be noisy for your own good.

Keeps your thoughts alive constantly

Keep on thinking about what you read, what you hear and what you see around yourself. This constant questioning of your senses makes you far more intelligent that all the bookish knowledge.

Change is inevitable. But to an extent we can decide the nature of change we want in our life.Following this path I have been happier and complacent than ever .

Hence Stand up and change your life for the better!!!!!!
