Educated Unemployment is one of the biggest threat for India's growing economy.Even after pursuing bachelor's as well as the master's programmes, most of the population is unemployed. What could be the reasons for this? Even after education, why are people not willing to work?

The simple answer to this is there is a huge fault in our education system. The education system needs a serious reform.Starting from the elementary classes the children are taught that, you just have to perform in examination and get an excellent result.Rather focusing on the path ways to education, the children are told about the destination. The outcome of this being, rather focusing on acquiring skills the children run for scoring marks and this leads to building of an unskilled generation.I know and agree with the fact that marks are important but in my opinion if the children of our country try to acquire skills rather than scoring marks it would be more beneficial and automatically they will score good.

Now coming back to the educated but unemployed people.Although the people are educated but unemployed because "they don't get paid as per their expectations".For instance one of my relative was a mediocre student with an okay performance in intermediate and high school. His father insisted him to do engineering but he couldn't score well in the IIT common entrance exam and as a result he was forced to join a college in a small district of Rajasthan. The fees for the course was approximately 4 lacs p.a. including the hostel charges. He did engineering and in the last semester he got a campus placement with a package of 1.2 lacsp. a.

He rejected the job, changed his motives regularly in life.He decided to become an I.A.S officer and spent 6 lacs for preparations but he couldn't crack the exam. He was highly demotivated and then spent his next precious 6 years of life at home unemployed.

A person spending approximately 25 lacs on education would never take a job with a package around 6 lacs. This leads to a very serious problem, Is the education system of our country in the right direction??

As per reports from the government the educated or graduate unemployed accounts to almost 11% of our total population. The aspirants are not getting salaries as per their expectations which poses some serious threats for our growing economy.

In my opinion the biggest dilemma for this country is people who are graduates are aspiring for the jobs of sweepers and clerks.

I just dont have words to explain this now but it should be the priority of the country head to look into this and reform the education sector completely.

My advice to parents of the budding kids of our country is just try to teach children about the importance of growing skills in any field rather running for marks and to conclude I would say that the biggest reason for unemployment is "People are not getting paid as expected after tons of investment and adding on to this they don't posses the required skills".
