Many of the female celebrities have fought their toughest battle with a bulging body to make it to bollywood.Giving you the names of those ladies here who had some “weight” issues and now rocking on the stage of glamour.

1. Bhumi Pednekar

Bhumi Pednekar came into bollywood as a busty actress in her debut “Dum Laga Ke Haisha” but soon she shocked everyone when she arrived in an award function (filmfare 2016) with those runway model looks. And yes her looks made headlines the very next day. Bhumi revealed that she didn’t gave up on her food that she liked but what she completely refused was sugar and also controlled her carbohydrates intake. Also she managed to exercise daily.

Our chirpy and bubbly bollywood actress is ruling the film industry since her debut. She dropped from size 38 to 30 and shocked everyone by making hot appearance in IIFA awards 2015. She is a food lover and yet made it to be an inspiring persona for losing weight. She was on a strict diet plan for almost 6 months. She gave up on sugar, high-carbs, high fat food. Also whenever she consumed extra calories, she made sure to burn them the next morning

3. Sonam Kapoor

She doesn’t seem like she has been a fatty girl in the past. But yes, she has too been a girl with extra body weight. Our Miss Style Icon weighed 86 kilos before her first movie “sawariya”. She lives on high-protein and low carbs diet. She keeps herself hydrated and doesn’t skip her meals.

4. Sonakshi Sinha

On number 4 we have our mast naino vali Sonakshi. Sonakshi reduced nearly 35 kilos before becoming “Rajjo” for Dabangg. She totally gives credit to a strict diet plan and daily workout which made her to reduce this much of weight. She adheres to rules like drink water, eat every 2-3 hours, ignore carbs etc.

5. Alia Bhatt

Our young and happening “Raazi” star was not always as gorgeous as she is now. Alia took up the challenge of reducing weight before her first movie and led to her losing 16 kilos in just 3 months. Her weight loss diet included all healthy and organic food. She started leading a disciplined life and that made her convert into a sexy lady with more confidence.

6. Zarine Khan

From 100 to 57 kilos. Yes you read it right. Doppelganger of Katrina kaif, Zarine Khan had reduced nearly 43 kilos. She was criticized for her larger than frame screen presence. However, she worked hard on her looks and has finally shed off the extra kilos. She never believed in short-cuts to weight losing such as having weight loss pills.

7.Sara Ali Khan

The 'Kedarnath' actress is the most-talked about bollywood diva right now. She has a dreamy beauty who has caught everyone's eye. Her old pictures tell us that she has done a lot to improve her looks. The girl with PCOS (Polycystic ovary syndrome) was firm on losing weight and so she did with a disciplined life and diet. She does a mixed workout regime daily so that she doesn't get bored.
