Why So Much Hatred For Hardik And K L Rahul?

Hardik Pandya and K L Rahul's irresponsible and absurd statements on Koffee with Karan,had led them to such a backlash that they wouldn't have ever imagined even in their dreams. In KWK, 25 years old Pandya and his team mate KL Rahul openly boasted about hooking up with multiple number of women and how open they had been about it with their parents. In this flow they even revealed embarrassing confessions like how they have breaked protocol of team and team mates.

What they did is completely irresponsible and couldn't be justified at any case . But the way CoA is handling this fiasco is not right. For a cricketer, there could be nothing worse than being banned from attending the cricket's biggest event that also when one is at top of their career.

The way people and even intellectuals are behaving is showcasing hypocricy of our society and judgmental attitude. In past also, from the cricket world only Virat Kohli once made similar statement, even BCCI president N Srinivasan, Chris Gayle did the same thing. But there were no outcry. Then why such an extremist and differentiated reaction in this case. Leave apart, why Karan Johar is not being questioned? Because legitimately he was the one who provoked them to say and move ahead with such statement even the tag line of show is " Stop Making Sense". He could have warned them but, he didn't do any such thing. And now when Hardik and K L Rahul are facing althis at the same time life is going smooth for K J.

Hardik and Rahul desrve punishement for what they have done but not this acidic and caustic response that they have been receiving since few days. As Rahul Dravid and Union Minister Babul Supriyo rightly voiced their concern regarding this matter and reminded everyone that there is a thick line between reprimanding someone and destroying their career. We sholuld stop and think that the way we are reacting on whole incidence. Is our scale of reaction appropriate?
