Dear Future me,
If you can read this it means that you managed to stay alive and did not go blind. So far, so good. I am you, twenty years ago. While you're reading this, I'm probably long gone and lost. But, i hope a part of me still resides in you because without my traces, you wouldn't be what you really are- A dumb head!

Well, a dumb head who makes people around her happy, someone who refuses to accept that there is evil in the world, someone who strongly believes that the world is the best place to live and humans are the best creatures. Yeah, this is us. This is me, atleast. I boast and praise myself, I keep myself above all. Are you the same?

By the way, how's the mister? Firstly, I hope you are married. I hope someone as crazy as us agreed to spend a life time with you. I hope he loves you. I hope you not only have a wedding, but also a marriage. I don't know anything about adjustment now, I hope Mom gives you a lecture and tells you about it before your wedding. (And I'm sure, she yelled at you for not paying attention and day dreaming while she's giving you that speech)

This is the most important question I wanted to ask you. What are you doing now? Are you working? If yes, what are you working as? Did you become a psychologist? Ooh! I would love it if you have a job in that field. Somewhere inside, that's what you always wanted to do right? Well, I wanted to do that, always. You are twenty years older to me, maybe you had another plans. Whatever, you're doing, I hope it pays you enough money to travel once In a year, gives you time to spend with friends and family and most importantly, gives you satisfaction.

How's the world, by the way? I'm sure brand new technologies have evolved. If someone has managed to create the time machine, please feel free to come and visit me once. Take me to the place you belong to. I want to see if the sky is still clear or has it turned smoky due to the pollution. I want to see if the water is still blue or has it turned black because of the waste dump age. I want to see if the world is filled with robots or are there any animals and birds left. I want to see if the world is filled with huge edifices or are there any trees left.

Lastly, I hope we have left a good place for our coming generations to live. I hope in your world, humans are prioritised over machines. I hope people still talk face to face and not talk or chat over screens when they are with each other. I hope there's no one in your life to say, "Humanity doesn't exist at all now-a-days." Just remember, humanity exists as long as mankind does. Human beings are good people, rather the best creatures. I hope India is prosperous and has finally changed from a "developing" country to a "developed" country. I hope there are no wars with Korea or China or Pakistan going on.

In conclusion, I just want to say I hope you didn't sleep while reading this letter and I hope you still remember me and have a little part of me in you. I hope you still dance. I hope you are still referred to as "FUNNY"

Lots of Love,
Yourself
