We all have some or the other problem in our life, we all are busy fighting our own battles. Problems are part of our lives. What matters is how we deal with it like for some it's a burden while for some it's a challenge. It is a game of perspective. It depends on us how we oversee it, whether in a positive way or in a negative way.

Sometimes we get trapped in our own thoughts that we don’t realize how badly we are surrounded by negative thoughts or feelings. We pay attention to the missing things rather than what’s present. We get so busy complaining about every little thing that we forget about all the positive things in our lives.

Even I never realized this thing until one of my friends told me to change my attitude. I didn’t realize how my perspective turned into a negative way. I started overanalyzing things. I end up spoiling my mood and sometimes of others also. But I decided to overcome this problem and found many ways to deal with it. This is not a long process, all you have to do is make some changes in your daily routine or you can say change your attitude towards life.

Mentioned below are some ways and habits through which you can overcome this problem.

  • Go for a walk or run.

  • Cook a healthy meal for yourself or for your family. (if you wish to do so)

  • Read a book or blog.

  • Draw, paint or create something of your own.

  • Listen to some good music.

  • Call a friend or family member.

  • Meditate.

  • Clean your room, house or apartment.

  • Take a break from your phone, laptop, and social media.

  • Write down all the things you like about yourself.

  • Take up a new hobby.

  • Try to learn something new.

  • Keep some little things (clip, button, coin etc) in your right pocket at the beginning of the day before leaving your home and whenever you feel happy put one coin or something in your left pocket repeat this whenever you feel happy, do this throughout the day. Before going to bed check your pockets you’ll get your answer.

  • Let yourself cry if you need to.

  • Take a nap

  • Watch a funny video on the internet.

  • Watch your favorite movie or TV shows.

  • Write down your negative thoughts on a paper and burn that paper.

Remind yourself that negative thoughts or feelings are only temporary. It depends on us how we handle our lives and it's problems. At the end what matters the most is your own happiness. Don't let these temporary negative thoughts or feelings control your permanent happiness.
