We all grew up watching cartoons and if you think that now you are too old to watch them, you are utterly wrong . There are variety of Indian, American and Japanese cartoon series popular in India where Japanese are always like 10 steps ahead in the world of cartoons. American cartoon shows majorly includes the Disney world and cartoon network channel which are loved by everyone. Indian cartoons have great influence on little kids but fails to gather the attention of age group above 10. They still lack creativity and variety.

Why Indian cartoons are boring?

Indian cartons like Chota Bheema, Mighty Raju, Motu Patlu might have been able to gain interest of little kids but other than that these cartoons are really boring and time wasting to watch. There are no shows made specifically for teenagers. These cartoons lack creativity, creators simply take characters from hindu mythology and religion and presents them in a different way. Cartoons like baal ganesha, hanuman are some examples. I’m not saying these themes are totally worthless, sometimes they prove to be entertaining too like very renowned movie- Ramayana: the legend of prince rama which is fusion of American, japaneses and Indian styles.

Indian cartoons don’t have the kind of villians that are loved and hated at the same time. Brutus from popeye the sailor man, mojo jojo from powerpuff girls, team rocket from pokemon are some good example of loved villians.

What makes japenese mangas and anime so popular?

These cartoons cater every age group. Shinchan, doremon, pokemon, dragon ball Z, Naruto, Japanese mangas are loved by kids, teens and young people. When mangas become popular, they came into animations and are called anime. We all love Shin Chan no matter what your age is.

The readers are provided with so much amusement and excitement that sometimes its even impossible to sleep without completing the final chapter. Their fun realistic stories lead to addiction of mangas. They provide us with wide range of genre that includes adventure, comedy, romance, science fiction etc. Their stories have ups and downs which makes audience trilled.
