People come in various shapes, sizes and structures and there is nothing to be ashamed of any body shape. Human body is the most precious tool one can have. People follow their mind, believe in its assumptions and its criticism but their opinion about their body structure easily gets moulded by the social structures. People’s perception which is shaped by social attitude and structures affect others. Many people have feelings associated with their body, which is of shame. People judge others or themselves based on their body structure, size and shapes by looking at others or themselves. Body shaming can take different forms and even can hurt a person to a very serious extent. Our minds should be prepared such that the social structures should not affect a person and people should not be judged on their body structures.

Body shaming has become so automatic that people do not realize the impact it can have on the other person. People being body shamed should think and believe in their own opinion about their body instead of getting affected by what others say. Every body type is beautiful in its own way and one should not try to change due to others.

Human body needs nutritious diet which should include vitamins, fibres, fats and carbohydrates. Desire to look in a certain way forces people to do dieting like calorie counting and forget to focus on the essentials for supporting a proper body functioning. People refuse certain pleasures like eating desserts, chocolates for maintaining their body structure or to change their body structure. One aspect of being healthy is allowing themselves to do certain things which makes them happy.

God has created all these body types and its unrealistic to desire for same body type as another. Shaming people for being too skinny or for being too fat is not what can be expected from a person, that is how their body structure is made. It is their body and not a property for others to be judged or criticised. People should be free from the judgment of others when it comes to how their body functions and what it needs. People desire to get a body being shown as idolized body by the media. It should be realized that all body structures are different and all bodies come in different shapes and sizes and it is not easy to change the body structure as desired without harming oneself. So, body shaming should be stopped. For fitness, body type is no bar.

Society’s beauty standards pressurize people get up to those standards ignoring the real beauty and the things which can genuinely make a person happy and beautiful. Body shaming also include judging a person for wearing high heels and not wearing clothes up to the society’s standards. People should learn to love their own body type and ways they are presenting themselves.

Body shaming has been deeply ingrained in people’s mind that sometimes they feel ashamed of their own body.People should let go off the pressures they carry. Beauty not only comes from bodies but also from other attributes such as intelligence, behavioural traits, selflessness and compassion.
