It was 6 am when the police, along with Reeha, reached the mental ward. She slapped at the receptionist's desk 'Where is my husband, Mr. Garang Khanak.' 'We don't remember patients by name, let me check in the desktop' the lady at the reception answered. 'For your very kind information he is not a patient, he is stressed and not mad' Reeha answered with authority in her eyes. 'Mam, please don't be emotional, I know it's painful but..' the lady tried to console her, but Reeha interrupted. 'You just stop this rubbish and give me the room number where my husband is admitted.' 'Sure! Room no. 126, the sixth floor of this building,' the lady said in a rude tone. The police followed in the room with Reeha leading them. She was excited yet worried about meeting him. The door of the room was locked from inside, she tried opening it, but it didn't open. It was the police turn to thrash the door open, and as always, the guards did it skillfully. Reeha pushed the guards behind and jumped into the room, but she couldn't find Garang. The police entered the room. After six minutes of investigation, a policeman shouted 'Here he is..'. Reeha rushed to see him, 'Garang, oh my God! What …what happened'. Reeha finally met him. Garang lied on the floor under the bed with his head covered by his knees.

His clothes were torn, hands were burnt, the dust had covered his body. 'Come out from the bed; I have come nothing will happen to you, just come' Reeha sobbed. But Garang didn't even look at her. He didn't also show his face. The policeman removed the bed over him. Reeha came closer to him, and with her hands, she removed his hands from his face. She fell back. Garang's face was covered with mud; prints of tears were visible from his face. He looked like a dead person. Reeha controlled her emotions and helped him to get up. She hugged him. Garang went numb; he had no reactions, no sign of relief, nothing. Reeha carried him in her car, while the police went in the jeep. They could not arrest the hospital officers because there was no proof of torture against them. Reeha continuously looked at him while Garang was lost. They both reached home at 8 am. Reeha wanted to take him to a doctor, who could help him from this situation. But she understood this was not the right time. She tried talking to him, but Garang never responded.
