Procrastination : A Habit To Change

Like when we talk about doing things at time, 90% of people fail to do. This is what Procrastination is all about. Laziness and that casual approach towards every opportunity that hits us, makes us lose them. Initially we cry for an opportunity so that we can prove ourself. But once we get it, we start procrastinating, we start delaying, we start avoiding and we take it casually. We adapt a behaviour where we are okay with it, like yes ! Its okay, "I'll do it." "I'll do it" is constant but along with "I'll do it", "afterwards" is also constant.We don't realize the value of that chance. We don't understand that someone somewhere is craving for one such opportunity which helps to grow, which helps to improve. Procrastination hits every individual hard. Whether kid, teen or adult, everyone faces a phase where they don't want to complete the work which they are supposed to do.

Initially we delay, than we panic. And we panic in a manner where we disturb our own mental state. We harrass our ownself and get into asituation which is difficult to face. The time when we delay, we let ourselves procrastinate the part of work, we already know the consequences. Our mind is already aware about the results, but still we let it happen. Procrastination happens when we let things delay willingly. The time when we are supposed to do it , we are supposed to complete it, we waste. And then we regret. We cry for the time we wasted. We ask for some more time. But even if we get some time more, we will again procrastinate and the process goes on. Everyone of us specially people doing jobs and students, are usuallyhit by procrastination. The delay in projects submission,delay in completing projects, delay in task completion even when we already know that we'll lose our marks or it will affect our payment. We do it again and again.

It is not type of disease but a behaviour which we have adapted in ourselves. Even after knowing that it is bad for every one in every situation, people keep on doing and repeating it again and again.

People tend to miss out opportunities because of this habit. This is basically a state of mind where one don't want to complete the work even when deadlines are on head. This is a situation where one calls for danger by his own cellphone and stands there to see how it comes.

Procrastination is not hard to defeat all we need is just good will power and dedication towards our work. And to adapt punctuality in every phase of our life. To avoid procrastination, we should take many important measures. Like instead of delaying the work, one should take rest and get back to work again with full energy. Because habit of procrastination can lead to stress and depression if not taken care of on time. So to avoid this problems one should pay attention towards changing the habit of procrastination.
