"I was pretty sure that you were going to leave me as the only thing you know is to play with feelings. Then what made you come back ? Answer me Anish!"
Sulagna shout out loudly.
She was literally sobbing.
"Please get out of here Anish ",she said," Please ! Leave my daughter and me alone. She doesn't need a father now. I've given her much love and affection that she can survive alone . Now please do a favor . Get lost"
" I searched for you Shulagna trust me. I was unaware that you were going to give birth to our child."
Somehow Vrikshika managed to get out of this situation. She didn't even know that his father's name was Anish. She was out of her breath and could not hold her tears.
Shulagna was a Professor in the department of education. On the other hand Vrikshika was in her MBBS final year .Anish was a very famous neurologist .
Vrikshika had never seen her mother being angry even in her childhood days . But she got furious as she saw her daughter's professor . The man, she wished, never to meet again.
Vrikshika was confused. She was practicing her final year underher father!! She was the daughter of famous neurologist Dr . Anish Devroy??
That night she thought that it might be one of the worst days of her life.
She went to her mother . Shulagna was still awake , may be she was waiting for her daughter . Vrikshika rest her head on Shulagna's lap.
" Did he hurt you very badly Mom?",asked Vrikshika.
"No. None can hurt me till the day I have you ", Sulagna replied.
"Mum , I think he still loves you."
"Don't think much about it , you have your studies for tomorrow's class . Prepare well. Everything would be fine . Don't worry."
Shulagna sent her daughter into her own room . As Vrikshika left she got sat down on the couch and bring out a small diamond ring and kept watching it. A flash of memories passed in front of her eyes in a glance.Tears rolled down her cheeks. She broke down. She never thought the man she once loved the most would turn out into a figure of hatred. She was ashamed of the mistake she made in an impulse which was the reason of her daughter's birth.
