Upon hearing the term 'cage', we think of an enclosure often made up of bars, something which is used to confine someone. It is not just that animals or birds are kept in a cage. Even humans confine themselves in an invisible cage.
People often trap themselves in an invisible cage - a cage of insecurities, fear, distrust, inferiority and what not. Since years women confined themselves to their homes, restricted their aspirations. The society was their cage then. But now they are earning their status by breaking this cage. This is what was needed.
Every individual surrounds himself by a cage. This cage isn't strong but the willing to come out of it is certainly weak and that is what makes things difficult. An individual becomes his own enemy if he gives up his determination in front of this restriction. There lie so many hidden qualities in a person but then the fear of failure, fear of what others will think, fear of how he will be perceived brings a person down. It holds the person and does not let him excel. In today's era where everyone is moving ahead, one cannot afford to stay within his restricted zone. He needs to come out, face the world; needs to fall and then get up again. Bring out the inner you. Set aside all your restrictions and curtailment.
Society has always been like a resistance band. The more you try to move ahead, the more it brings you back. But then does that mean to stop ourselves, our aspirations? No. We need to realise what actually resists our move towards achieving our goal. Once we figure out from where does the resistance come, we will be able to hammer it down. We would be able to then set ourselves out free and pump up ourselves to achieve what we aim.
