Naruto Characters Rated: Part 2

Continued from the previous article, here are a few other characters who do not come under the category of being the main ones.

Shikamaru Nara

Belongs to the Nara clan, known for tending deer and for medicinal expertise. Shikamaru would probably be the laziest person you’ll ever come across. But don’t let that laziness fool you. His intelligence when he is of Genin level is comparable to an average Jonin level shinobi. The leader of Squad 10, under Asuma Sensei. He is a brilliant strategist, as proved by him during the Chunin exams. Facing a tough opponent like Temari from the sand village, Shikamaru showed exceptional intelligence, and almost won the battle. But he gave up, and still got praise from all the proctors as well as the Hokage. He was among the Genin ninja sent in pursuit of Sasuke. This mission proved how courageous and amazing his skills and Shadow jutsu’s are. Rating: 7.5/10

Ino Yamanaka

A member of Squad 10. Her family owns a flower shop in Konoha. One of the hot girls in the villages, she deals with mind control jutsu. A rival and best friend of Sakura. She too has a crush on Sasuke (seriously girls? There are other guys, you know). Same as Sakura, she realizes she’s better off working as a medical ninja rather than a normal one.Rating: 6/10

Choji Akimichi

Never ever utter the word ‘fat’ when he’s nearby. A member of Squad 10, he deals quite a bit of damage with his expansion jutsu and human boulder jutsu. But that is only when he is in his normal state. Eating the giant food pills made by his clan gives him enormous strength. A loyal friend to Shikamaru, he was the first one to stay back fighting an opponent while the others went along in pursuit of the ninja who took Sasuke. Rating: 6.75/10

PS, you will probably never see him without a bag of chips in his hand when not battling.

Kiba Inuzuka

A member of Squad 8 under Kurenai Sensei, he comes from the Inuzuka clan which is known for the use of ninken (ninja animals) in battle. He is accompanied by Akamaru, his pet dog. Together, they deal a great amount of damage with Fang Over Fang, and Wolf Fang Over Fang jutsu. Probably a trait of the family, he has amazing sense of smell and hearing. He is an amazing tracker. Rating: 6.75/10

Hinata Hyuga

You won’t see a girl as beautiful and mild as Hinata. She comes from the Hyuga clan, known for the legendary vision jutsu, Byakugan, which allows them to see through things, thermal vision, and so many other things. They can also see the chakra network in the human body. Another jutsu in the Hyuga clan is the Gentle Fist, which allows the user to increase or stop the flow of chakra in an opponent’s body. She is a member of Squad 8. She adores Naruto. Though we never see her during the initial part of the show, it is later shown that she always watched Naruto, feeling sad for him. Seeing him grow was the reason she herself grew. She drew inspiration from Naruto, battling with all his might. She also supported him, despite the fact that he was battling against her cousin. No wonder they ended up together, because I wouldn’t want it any other way than how creator Masashi Kishimoto wrote the plot. Rating: 8/10

Shino Aburame

Shino is a member of Squad 8 and he hails from the Aburame clan, known for their love of insects. They let insects grow on their body as a part of a symbiotic relationship. He uses these insects for a variety of purposes like tracking, creating clones of himself, battling, etc. You will probably never see Shino laughing. Rating: 6.5/10
