While you are growing up just don't forget to miss onto the lessons given in childhood. To all the fairy tales by grandma and advisory guidance where the agenda was to be a good soul lands you in a scary land altogether.

What is Procrastination?
Procrastination is the act of delaying things irrespective of being aware of the negative repercussions. From laying down, waiting for the clock to give repeated snooze alerts, presenting self-excuses that there is enough time left till oh, I have so less time to finish the task procrastination plays a major contribution in shaping your lifestyle.

What do its footprints signify?
It's not just the kids in front of idiot box and Nutella who are prone to procrastination but the whole mankind globally. Women keeping aside household chores, to last-minute accounting balance sheets. What each of us does is we prioritise work. We start doing it on the last bell considering the fact it is important. Rest of the work passes on till the next sunrise. Procrastination can be genetic as well as intentional. The biggest factors contributing to procrastination is the notion that we have to feel inspired or motivated to work on a task at a particular moment.

The hardest part of a project is to start it at first. The environment always holds something which will help to trigger your attention and help you distract. But, all you have to do is stay determined. Almost, 80-85% of college-going generation are real-procrastinators.

Procrastination can end up affecting your mental health and leave you with a disorder of chronic procrastinator. Not of much surprise, this affects your lifestyle simultaneously leaving you unaware a lot many times.

How to take yourself back?
All you have to do is follow the remedy to stop this troublesome habit:
Let me make it very clear when you are procrastinating you are lying to your own self. Demand for delay should be avoided.

Trick your mind to do the work and end it as quick as possible. Or else the work may pile up.
Pen it down how are you going to tackle the work within the time allotted.
Distractions which will apparently slow down should be kept aside.
Self-Belief is the most important amongst all. One should never underestimate their potentialities and capabilities. Once you underestimate yourself you will lack the spirit to work.

The biggest misinterpretation is people think hands of clock implements stoppage and time left. Such casualties frame a sluggishness and dull personality. So, just cheer up and rule your own selves with time management techniques.
