In this write-up We'll discuss how to do manicure at home with natural ingredients.

It is true that none of us have time to visit a salon and get a manicure done. But in this case you don't have to go anywhere or spend an extra penny.

So let's start the process to get a glowing hand.

Manicure can be done through five steps like pedicure.

Step 1: Cut Your Nails

Remove your previous nail colour with acetone. Cut your nails according to the preferred length and shape. Try to clean the edges of your nails as it contains dirt. You can either go for a round or a square shape. The main motive is to reduce the length of your nails.

Step 2: File Your Nails

To get a smooth finish you have to file your nails. With the help of a filer, file it in one direction. Please don't skip this step as smoothening your nails is very important.

Step 3: Soak Your Hand

Like in pedicure, Take a tub filled with warm water. Add two drops of honey and juice of half a lemon. Then add two tablespoon of baking soda and five drops of a

mild shampoo if you have one. Stir it well. Soak your hands for five minutes. Honey is a fantastic moisturiser while lemon is a good de-tanning agent. Soaking your nails will help you get rid of tan and dirt.

Step 4: Scrub Your Hand

I'll explain how to make the simplest scrub. Take lemon juice, sugar and honey. Mix all these ingredients together and apply it on your hand. Scrub gently for ten minutes. Heat is produced while scrubbing, this will melt the sugar crystals and exfoliation of dead skin cells will take place. As said honey is an amazing moisturizer,it will keep your hand remain moisturized always. Wash it after ten minutes with lukewarm water and pat it dry.

Step 5: Polish Your Nails

This step is optional. Apply the base coat. Let it dry. Apply your favourite nail paint and allow it to dry.

Your manicure is done.

Now let me say the benefits you get when you do a manicure.

  • It will make your hands soft.

  • Manicure will always keep your nails clean and healthy.

  • It will nourish the cuticles.

  • As a result it will improve your blood circulation too.

Our hands are the most worked parts of our body thus our hands deserve a treat every month at least once. So try to make it a practise.
