A cake is an inseparable part of any celebration.

Tip 1: Keep every Ingredient in Room Temperature

This is a common mistake that everyone used to make. I used to make this mistake in the beginning that is when I started making cakes. The main mistake is beating the cold butter in the batter. One shouldn't do that. Always put the soft butter. If you are taking it directly from the fridge please keep it outside for three to five minutes and then cut the required amount of butter. After that add it to the batter. This will give the cake an extra softness. Similarly never use eggs which are taken directly from the fridge. Just keep them outside for ten minutes.

Tip 2: Follow the Recipe Properly

If you have taken a recipe follow that properly. That is don't try to change the ingredients and quantity to be taken. If you are changing, then make sure that it is proportionally changed. If there is a slight variation in the quantity of major ingredients like flour and butter then your cake won't be soft or it will not be properly baked. So please make sure that you take the right amount of Ingredients.

Tip 3: Keep The Ingredients Ready Before You Start

Keep the ingredients ready before you start making the cake. To avoid forgetting any ingredients it is better to keep it ready in beforehand.

Tip 4: Fill the Cake Pan only 2/3rd

When you fill the cake pans don't just pour the batter in a way it fills the entire pan. Fill 2/3rd of the cake pan. Only then the batter will have the space to rise. So make sure that you fill half or 2/3rd of the pan.

Tip 5: Do a Toothpick Test

When you feel that your cake is baked don't just take it directly instead do a toothpick test. You have to insert a toothpick and see whether the batter is sticking,if not then your cake is ready. Take out the cake by wearing gloves.

Tip 6: Let the Cake Cool Down

Before you start icing please make sure that cake is not hot anymore. It should cool down and be at the room temperature only then icing will be proper and easy.
