School Vs College

The journey of childhood to adulthood, you would have a lot of memories, achievements, functions and many more.

We join the school crying, make a lot of memories and leave crying.

The school allows us to gain knowledge of how our adulthood would look like. On the other hand, college allows us to have complete ownership of our time, responsibilities and how and where we want to be.

School is where getting marvelous grades, keeping a smart and worthy schedule, where we study crazy, you will be just fine. College, balance is a major challenge. Work a lot and hard, have little fun.

Here we have a few comparisons between school and college

1) Punctuality:

School:

Always on time, not even a minute late, or 20 minutes before the bell rang. In my childhood, I have seen many children crying out loud and going crazy even if they are late only by 10min.

College:

There is no word called punctuality in our college life. I often listen to my friends saying I just woke up 15 minutes before our college time and it never happens that we go on time to college. And we never came across the word called punctuality.

2) Attendance

School:
As attendance would be the competition for our marks. It will never come down less than 90%. On a medical survey, it came into notice that 74% of students going to school even with a high fever.

College:
At hard times we would balance to have 75% of attendance. And I find most of my friends standing in a queue to pay their attendance fee. And the one who manages to have 75% of attendance in minimum would throw a party.

3) Exams

School:
Complete syllabus is done, had 3 or 4 revisions of it and just need to revise a few formulae once and slept at 11 pm.

College:
The first look towards the respective textbook would probably happen at 11 pm before the exam day. Just thinking to have a glance to the chapters the clock strikes 1 am. And probably we remember all the fun throughout the semester with friends. Then we realize it’s time for the exam.

4) Here comes the special occasions, BORN DAY!!

School:

We distribute sweets in school with our best friend, while others would listen to the boring lecture and we just go to every class. There will be no punishment even if you don’t do your homework. Aparty at home with my friends and family members.

College:

Having a party throughout the night. On the birthday eve, there will be two cakes on
the table, one for the cake cutting and the other for the face painting. Very
hard birthday bombs and a few pictures and a lot of memories for a lifetime.
