Creativity Is Intelligence Having Fun.

Do you consider yourself creative?

Most people do not, as for them only the artists and musicians are creative but not them.

But what I believe, everyone living out there is 'CREATIVE' in his own way.

As being creative is all about doing the thing you have that makes you different from others.

It is the most important characteristic of a human being. It is one of our main traits that makes us successful as individuals and as species.

Many of us blame rules, regulations, responsibility, etc as the killer of our Creativity, but the main culprit behind is something else. According to me the greatest enemy of our creativity is, 'The Fear Of Failure' which is rooted inside all of us.

We are afraid to be wrong. We are afraid to make a mistake. We are afraid of not being perfect. We are afraid of looking stupid or being laughed at or worse being rejected. There are a million things out there which can be blamed but the main killer will always remain our own 'FEAR'.

We want to reach the top of our dream ladder without taking the initial step as we are always in a hurry, but if you want to find and capture your creativity you have to conquer that fear, learn to appreciate your creativity which will help you achieve personal and professional peace.

Regardless we see ourselves as creative beings or not, Inspiration is the key to our creativity.
Using your creativity means welcoming trial and error into your life.

It is common knowledge most people who succeed brilliantly had to first fail devastatingly, yet they kept going, kept insisting on their vision, on their right to explore, question and yes made mistakes. Pursuing their ideas and following their 'gut feelings' were more important to them than worrying if they were right or not.

Many evolutionary biologists view creativity as an inherent asset that has helped our species survive.

Why?
Because using our creativity makes humans flexible in their thinking and adaptable to surprise and change. AS,

Creativity is what helped our distant ancestors figure out how to get out of a bad situation when face to face with a saber tooth tiger.

Being wrong can be very useful for a creative person. It is one of the ways we learn in what direction we should go and in what we should not.

Creativity is no respecter of time or superimposed deadlines. it only respects imagination and the tenacity to follow the course upon which your creative work is taking you.

So to stay with your creativity you have to celebrate your unique and weird ways of perceiving and expressing. They are our strongest defenders against the destructive aspects of self judgement.

They are the qualities that make our individual creativity unlike any other. They are infact, Creator's Home.
