Nepotism, a word which brings in different reactions from the people in today's generation, some might act easy but more often individuals fume over this topic. In this era of social media, the audience are becoming more of nimble witted year by year as Nepotism has become a new talk of the town in the comment sections of various social media platforms.
The question that bugs most of them is why the star kids are given easy oppurtunities in this industry irrespective of their good acting skills. Most of the star kids with limited talents are given more of the opportunites, whereas an outsider with no Film background struggles to sustain himself/herself in the industry or get golden opporutinites to show case their talents.
Nepotism brings a difference in the minds of the people while judging an actor onscreen, if they are a star kid, the audience try judging them hard and start comparing whereas for an outsider freshface its a different scene all together! They might get judged in a positive or a neagtive manner or not even bothered or considered by the crowd at times! Their hardwork or even descent amount of work goes unheeded or unnoticed at times! Even if starkids fail in their debut films, there are still chances for them to get into other film projects of their near or dear diretor or producers, but wat about the non star kids, if their debut film doesn't go well at the box office, maybe they will just vanish by then as in a rarity they would be getting another film projects to work upon!
There are lot of cases of actors or actresses who go unnoticed with good amount of talent in them or those who have worked only in a few films, it does not mean that they aren't passionate enough to work more , its just that they fall out of opportunities and their hardwork and talent goes unheeded.
The Irony is Nepotism in not always the ease for the star kids, as they are judged on the bases of comparing them with the talents or acting skills of their family members. As we all know, there are star kids who have miserably failed in this industry as they are unsuccesful in matching up with the standards of their already well acclaimed family member of this industry.
In contrast of the past, its good to see the audience judging the stars purely based on their talents and not from where they come from. The bottom line is, at the end of the day TALENT WINS THE GAME.
