Top-notch beauty brands sell their skincare products with the promise of leaving a complete satisfaction on the part of the customers. But do they always do so? Do they know what works for you and what is good for your skin type? Whenever you're window shopping for makeup haul or personal grooming products, you have to go through a bunch of reviews, YouTube videos, bloggers and expertise comments. But when it comes to natural care, we all can be our own heroes. After all natural care is the best SELF-CARE. It seldom goes wrong and can bring magic on our face(if used properly and on a regular basis). One doesn't opt for natural ingredients to be a part of skincare routine only because their results are time consuming. But if it is right and well, then why not? Plus they're cheap and easy to avail.

No matter how much makeup you use, at the end of the day all you is need is to feel confident and be you. Here's the job of a homemade face pack with few items from your kitchen and a little bit of effort that can reflect your own beauty, your real skin underneath the layers of makeup.

You can't go wrong with basic cleansing, toning and moisturizing(CTM) steps to keep your body and face healthy. I'm not an expert. I'm not a beauty blogger. I'm me and thus I would like to share my long years of experience with natural homemade products for my daily skincare routine. In the beginning, I took several impromptu decisions but each and everyday I have learnt new techniques and tricks to get a fresh and healthy skin. So here're few grails:

  • Yogurt(white dahi) 🥛

Fantastic ingredient for skin brightening. When mixed with oatmeal or rice powder, can be used as cleanser and it's the best anti-tanning agent. Apply the mixture on your face gently in circular motion, leave it for 3-4mins and then rinse off with lukewarm water.

  • Coffee ☕

One of my trusted exfoliator(scrub) that exfoliates dead skin cells and skin impurities. The coffee granules when massaged all over your face and neck with a tinge of honey can create wonder. It's a scrub that's also a moisturizer. Regular usage leads to glowing results!

  • Tomato 🍅

Imagine a veggie that prove to be a de-tanning expert. The pulp of tomatoes contains lycopene which actually acts as good sun protecting factor. All you need to do is cut a slice of tomato and gently rub on your face, neck and even arms. Let the puree be absorbed on your skin and then just rinse it off with normal water.(FYI- If you have sensitive skin, please try first on your palm. (If it itches, don't apply on your face)

  • Banana 🍌

Now an ingredient from your fruit basket! This is a real hero as it helps to remove dirt from your face and at the same time gives a smoothening texture after washed off. It also fades acne marks and reduces breakouts.

  • Cucumber 🥒

Last but not the least one of my personally prefered homemade toner is cucumber. Peel it and put it in a blender. Filter out the liquid from it and add some ice cubes. This cool mixture really surprises me everytime I apply it after a hectic day at outside.

My love for these natural buddies came right from my Mommy and hopefully I could have helped all the fellows who are spending money on expensive products which say 100% natural. Everyone can make their unique products. Everyone can become a beauty hacker. Just think naturally and be yourself.
