By now we all know about a country named North Korea. It has been the most secluded country and has cut all contacts with the outer world. Even in the 21st century, it is under a dictatorship rule of Kim Jong-un. And the previous dictators have consistently belonged to Kim Jong-un's family. North Korea has the most bizarre laws that are operated and has to be followed by everyone.

Here are some of the laws that people have to follow in North Korea:

1. No vehicles-
North Korea has restricted people from having cars. There are absolutely no cars that you'll see on the road. The only people that are allowed to have cars are the " Male" government officials. You might have noticed most people are just walking in some photographs.

2. No Television -

No, it's not how it sounds. There are Tv sets in North Korea but there are only three channels that are operated under government. All of them are propaganda based news channels and mostly talks about North Korea and Kim Jong- Un.

3. Haircuts -You cannot have a dapper looking hair cut in North Korea. It is strictly prohibited and you might go to jail for it ?! There are just a few haircuts that are government approved. 10 specific haircuts for men and well women luckily have 8 more choices than men do.

4. No religion-

That's right you are not allowed to practise or worship any god or religion. Bible, Quran and any other religious possessions are prohibited and if someone finds you with it then you might be sent to a labour camp or even be executed. North Korean people can strictly worship none other than you know who? Kim Jong-un himself!

5. Bizarre rituals-

Before Kim Jong-Un, it was his father Kim Jong -ill who ruled North Korea. He passed away in the year 1994 and since then every year on the day of his death anniversary people are not allowed to smile and if anyone is seen smiling instead on mourning...well the consequences are pretty bad. They were strictly made to cry on his father's funeral and those who didn't were sent to the labour camps.

6.There are specific caste systems -

The caste system is divided into 3 categories and it is based on how much a family has been loyal towards the country. From most loyal to least loyal. The most loyal are ranked as the privileged class, the family lower than that are the upper middle and the last ones are considered dishonest and hostile.

7. No internet-

There is internet access in North Korea. Only certain government officials, privileged class and their family can have access to the internet. This is because the people shouldn't be have any contact with the outer world. Internet is prohibited so that people cannot be acknowledged that there is something called freedom.

8. No international calls -

You need to ask government's permission to make an international call. There are surveillance cameras everywhere eyeing on every move of the North Koreans.

9. Elections -

Surprisingly elections are regularly held but with no other candidates, only one candidate and you know the name. And it is compulsory to go and vote during the elections

So those were the extremely bizarre laws that North Koreans have to compulsorily follow and well rest you all know the consequences they face!
