What is Education?
Education is the process by which an individual acquire knowledge, ideas, experience and skills. Education means learning something new, it is not just limited to the knowledge we receive in our schools, colleges and universities but also what we learn from our day to day experiences, our surroundings, and our society. There is no age to learn, learning is a never ending process.

IMPORTANCE OF EDUCATION:
Education plays a vital role in shaping the personality of an individual, it changes our mindset and we get to understand the difference between right and wrong and help to attain a positive attitude towards life. In today’s competitive world acquiring proper education is very necessary. We can get a good job and make a good career only if our education is proper. Proper education makes us strong mentally, socially and intellectually by increasing our knowledge and technical skills. Knowledge helps us to face different difficulties and problems of our life it makes us confident.

THE ROLE OF GOVERNMENT IN EDUCATION:
Many awareness programmes are run by the government to enhance the importance and value of education in urban and rural areas. Many government schools have been setup and education till primary level has been made free. Distance learning programmes have been introduced for those who can go to school or college regularly due to work. Education has been made simple and cheap so that everyone can be benefitted.

An educated person helps in the growth of the society. If we are well educated we will know who to choose as our leader and what will benefit our country. A country’s growth and development is only because of its citizen and only an educated person can think wisely and be a healthy pillar of his country.
