Why do my cheekbones look swollen? Why is my nose so big and puffy ? Why do my forehead look so big in pictures?

oh wait! let me google it on the internet. And in a single press, hundreds of videos flashed with captivating titles like "how to lose your weight naturally in 10 days" , "how to reshape your nose", etc etc.

We are taught since childhood that unless you're not pretty. you're not worth the attention, or unless you're beautiful, you're not worth other people's time because looks do matter!

"Don't look at yourself through their eyes!"

This is utter garbage. you need to remember you are you, and no one can take that away.

you don't need to change your body shape or texture of hairs. you need to change your idol! yes the people you follow. the people you want to look like or become.

Our mind works that way, once we make someone our idol. we want to change our everything to become like them and when we fail to do so, we build insecurities about ourselves.

we start drawing a comparison and this makes us hollow inside.

Nowlet us talk about who are our idols. Film stars, models , youtubers?

Just break this glass of illusion for god sake. No one is perfect and especially the people we see on a glamorous big screens. you need to change your idol. if you really want to rule the world, become like directors, the CEOs of the companies, the powerful people who don't need to come in front of the big screen to show off their faces instead their work speaks for them.

Inthis century we can literally find solutions to our every goddamn problem whether it is getting your nose reshaped or making your eyes look bigger.

The only thing that matters is "Where do you invest your time into?".
Leave the illusion of the screen and face reality. Learn to love yourself for who you really are and what you like about yourself!

i feel "The more we know ourselves, the less it matters what other thinks about you!" :')
