Is this is what we've turned to
As a human race?
Afraid of texting
Talking face to face,
Wearing masks everyday
To hide our disgrace.
Putting on makeup
To cover the mistakes,
Saying petty comments
Behind best friends back
Always talking trash,
About others we hate.
Wanting to be popular
But you need to lose weight,
Causing drama
Beacause you are bored.
I am sick of this society
That we're moving torwards.
What happened to humanity
To kindness and compassion
To best friends forever.
Never caring about fashion
Smiling because we are happy,
And talking because we care.
I used to have hope in us
A vision of light,
Now all i can see is
A dark dying sight.
