Education is very important for the overall development of a country . lt provides the nation with man powers, promotes national unity and uplifts public awareness . Education is the only way that we can strengthen and empower the upcoming generation . A country needs different kinds of man powers such as engineers, doctor, teachers, administrative officials, economists, judges, lawyer and other technical hands.

In ancient times, Education was the only boy child right . Girls were kept apart from the mainstream of education but now a days it's different But now also there are many people in our society who can't understand the importance of girl's education . For this reason, India has not developed completely and I think education is the main reason that our country is not a developed country.

Education in any nation or society is the criteria for social control, personality development and social and economic progress. India's current education system is based on the British pattern.

In India this education system played an important role in keeping the upper classes separate in the remaining societies of India, therefore the poor people of India became poorer and rich people of india became rich and wealthy.

Understanding the importance of education, the Indian Constitution provides reservation for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes in educational institutions and various government rituals etc. An attempt was made to bring the backward castes under these facilities. After independence our literacy rate and the number of educational institutions have increased dramatically but still more than 40 percent of the population is illiterate.

Due to the reservation, the literacy rate was very large, but the competent people were unable to get the job.

With the new face of capitalist economy, privatization and liberalization, education has also been seen in terms of 'product', which is bought and sold in the market.India's current education system is still surrounded by the maze of crises. In every ten years, textbooks are changed but there is a need to change the basic nature of education and make it employment oriented.

The biggest thing is that the person who is educated in India today has not yet got the job of his qualification, so what does that education and degree mean?
