In between
The materialistic desires,
And the pomp and sapphire
Love lost its meaning
The pretty faces and the lavish life,
Inside which resides the inhumane life
Love lost its meaning
The get-togethers and the worldly boast,
Masked with a smiling gloat
Love lost its meaning
The conflicting “I”
That’s your “I” and my “I”
Love lost its meaning
The solitude in a congregation
And peace in our accommodation
Love lost its meaning
It’s you and I that’s makes it all
We swagger ourselves and let our emotions fall
And then we complain love has lost its meaning
