Human has invented many things that helped him to make his work easy like the computer, mobile phone, television and many more. But I think the most useful discovery of human beings is the Internet. The Internet can change the whole lifestyles of a person. The Internet helped us to communicate fast. It made video calling possible. It helps us to find something asap. The Internet has given some much to us. But I think it has taken a lot from us. I think because of the Internet people are connecting to the person who is far away from him but losing the connection with the person who is close to us. In my view, I think the increase in the number of a rape case is because of the internet.

I think more than the advantages the internet has a higher number of disadvantages. With the invention, of the internet, a new crime has also invented, cybercrime. Cybercrime or a computer-oriented crime which involves computers and a network connection. According to some of the well-known researchers, cybercrime has defined as"Offences that are committed against individuals or groups of individuals with a criminal motive to intentionally harm the reputation of the victim or cause physical or mental harm, or loss, to the victim directly or indirectly, using modern telecommunication networks such as Internet (networks including chat rooms, emails, notice boards and groups) and mobile phones (Bluetooth/SMS/MMS)".Cybercrime may threaten a person or a nation's security and financial health.

Cybercrime has been classified into mainly 5 types:

• Cyberbully

• identity theft

• cyberstalking

• cyber terrorism

• online scams

In recent years the cybercrime which has the most number of cases reported is a cyberbully. In this crime, the hacker or the special is user tries to bully an individual over the social media sites. Some user comments on the posts or they do wrong messages to the individual. According to the recent survey, girls face the cyberbully the most. Some of the girls didn't even report this crime because of the shame and this encourages those cyber bullies.

To protect yourself with this new age crime you can exercise these basic precautions:-

1. Use a full-service internet security suite

2. Use strong passwords

3. Keep your software updated

4. Manage your social media settings
