I just want to say that I'm a south Indian, I say this because south Indians watch plenty of movies than the north Indians because we are kind of obsessed with them. Even if we don't understand the language, we go for them.

And after being exposed to many ways of picturization and movie making, I can say that ' Tamasha ' movie will always have a great spot in my heart forever.

Whenever I watch this movie, believe me, I have watched it a number of times and every time it chokes me,moves me,inspires me.

It is the kind of movie that gets better every time you watch it.

A youngster is forced to do engineering and is expected to be grateful to study engineering, sounds too common, right?

Maybe, the beauty of the movie is that almost everyone can connect and feel the pain, trauma inside Ved.

There are a hell lot of scenes that we connect to instantly. Praising our Boss just for the sake of our job. Being a machine and doing the same routine wearing routine clothes and losing it all at some point.

Well if I have to say which one's my favorite dialogue, it would be this. It just captures all the frustration, heplessness, confusion faced by people at the moment.

Especially, the climax scene where Ved tells a story to his father about his robotic, mediocre race and the magical childhood.

When the heroine tells him that he's special and is shocked he doesn't approve of that,

And not to forget the scene which depicts the lack of clear common sense for us during the turmoil of life-changing decisions so much so that, we depend on silly things like fate, horoscopes, etc, etc,.

Why do you fear coward?

Who's here?

Why do you ask me what's going to happen?

You tell me your story,

What's inside you?

What do you really want?

The above questions are asked to the protagonist while he is scared to do what he loves and is adamant to talk to his father about his interests.

As I have mentioned earlier, there are hell of a lot of amazing scenes in this movie and I went through a lot of struggle to finalize which scenes are superior to others.

Imtiaz Ali, AR Rahman, Ranbir, Deepika, Ravi Varman made this movie a treat to watch not just once, but repeatedly.
