Arjun Reddy. The movie that created an ever-lasting impact on the telugu audience, was not an easy experience for the cast and crew. Movie makers have gone through turmoil before the release due to the controversies objecting the posters, dialogues. Despite all this, the movie had been the game changer of the Telugu movie industry.

Never before in the industry, a movie with 3-hour runtime with most of the parts depicting the deadly, depressing consequences of a man's failed love while illustrating the rules of a medical surgeon and including a raw, pure new generation love story. It doesn't feel like a regular commercial or drama genre movie but delivers a biography feel to the viewers.

Not just as a Telugu audience but as a movie lover, I can say that the movie and all the characters amongst the movie are so connected and still relevant to all of us though it's been almost 2 years since it released.

It will be relevant for many more years to come too. Even after 10, 15 years the name 'Amit' will be laughed at just because of a single dialogue of this movie.

Sure the movie has been a revolution in terms of movie making in Telugu industry and it has made all the makers and actors overnight stars.

Vijay Devarakonda has acquired enormous fame which he deserved right from the beginning of his career.

That was his life's turning point.
Shalini Pandey, Rahul Ramakrishna and all the other members of the cast had made their impact which cannot be dared to question. But the real gem for me is surely the captain Of the ship, Director 'Sandeep Reddy'.

I'm sure that if not him, no one else would have attempted to picture a Highly aggressive yet emotional but also dedicated person, as the lead character whom we connect, despise sometimes.

The subtle and real emotions between families, friends have been depicted for the first time...

One thing which stands out is that in most of the movies, Friend characters just elevate hero, behaves like a disciple of hero or turns out a villain. But the director has shown the way real friends abuse, fight but stand with each other.

The clarity and command of the director on the story make us wonder if he is the original ' Arjun Reddy' who has delivered his own life story as a movie. Surprisingly, even he was a medical student in Karnataka.

Coincidence? I don't think so...

No one can picture their own story better than the person who has experienced it.

Maybe it was him or not, it didn't matter and doesn't matter now...
