Civil Service Exam

Civil Service Exam is the most prestigious exam in India.It is one of the most important exam in India.After cracking this exam people get jobs in administrative system.People became IAS,IFS,IPS,IRS and etc.This exam is one of the most difficult exam in India.Many people try to compete with each other in this exam.Many people aims for this exam but only a few are able to crack thisexam.After cracking IAS exam one gets the authority to admistrate the admistrative affairs of the city.This exam is organized by Union Public Service Commission.It isa national level competitive exam.

There are three stages of this exam – IAS Prelims ,IAS mains,IAS Personality test.One have to clear the first stage to go on to the next stage.IAS prelims has 2 papers of objective type.You will be given 4 options out of which you have to select one.It is just a qualifying exam and the marks scored will not be added to the total IAS score.The first paper is of General Ability test and Civil Service Aptitude test.Paper 1 has 80 questions and paper 2 has 100 questions.The total marks for IAS prelims is 400 marks.Candidates have to secure 33% to qualify for IAS mains.Questions will be set in both English and Hindi Language.IAS mains is an offline exam which consist of both subjective and objective questions.There will be 2 papers and each paper is of 3 hours.Each paper consist of 250 marks.IAS mains is divided into Qualifying exam and Merit exam.In paper 1 one has to selecta language and the other paper is of English.The exam conists of 7 papersof 250 maqrks each – General Studies 1, General Studies 2,General Studies 3,General Studies 4,Optional Subject Paper 1,Optional Subject paper 2.IAS personality test consists of anInterview which is very tough to crack.The interview will be of 275 marksmaking the total marks of IAS to be 2025.

Many people in India have an aim to crack the exam.Many parents also wants that their children should become IAS officers.But the exam is very tough.To crack this exam one requires courage,hardwork,patience and strategy.Without proper strategy one cannot clear this exam.One should have the right approach toward this exam.In the news it is often heard that people commit suicide after unable to clear the exam.This is not accepted at all.This is not the final exam at all.There are many other good jobs and opportunities in life other than this.Work hard to crack it but do not lose hope if you are not able to make it in the list.
