Food, water, shelter…. What do you know about these 3. Well yes..!! These are the 3 main essential requirements needed by a person for his/her survival and carry on his daily routine. All this we have studied in our school textbooks. But today let’s talk about only food, its importance and how is it actually consumed by the present generation. Let’s go..!!

“Food” is something which is consumed by a human being during the times of hunger. In olden days, food for them was only rice, dal and one curry. There weren’t many varieties made, people used to eat a very simple and nutritious meal. That used to keep them energetic the whole day. They never had something like snacks, desserts or anything else. But coming to the present generation, there is no meal without a dessert or a snack. There needs to be some complimentary dish apart from the main course. So to such an extent the world of food as changed upto. Now there are various dishes made by our Indian mothers like Chinese, south Indian, north Indian, Italian, and many more. The list would not end. We have pasta from Italian, dal chaval from south Indian, roti and paneer from north Indian, noodles and fried rice from the Chinese and many more. These dishes look very tasty and delicious. At the very first, these used to be prepared by very few, but that is not the situation now. Every family is showing up keen interest in preparing such dishes. The best part is, even if they do not know the procedure, they are you - tubing it and preparing them, such is the demand for these dishes in our country.

Food in our country is a very popular and has gained a lot of demand in the recent years. Have you ever tasted the HYDERABADI DUM BIRYANI..!! It is worldwide famous and popular dish for all the non vegetarians. Haleem, Keema samosas and many more are very famous all over the world. I know your mouth’s started to water…but control..!! we can’t leave the vegetarians apart. We have the veg pulav, (and not the veg biryani) paneer, mushroom, and soya dishes and many more. It is not a small list. The food dishes do not stop there, there are various chats, snacks, desserts, and many more. I know our grand parents wouldregret of not having such dishes at their times. So that is how our Indian food has evolved upto a great extent and we must be glad enough to have such a chance of tasting all such varieties by sitting in just one country..!!
