As known by all, the term "LGBTQ" stands hard for- lesbian, gay, bisexual,
transgender and Q stands for queer for those who are identifying their sexual
identity.
Now at this point of time in the Indian society or for the matter of fact in the
entire world, this topic is the most discussed and disputed.
Ironic right?
The most discussed yet the most disputed.
The problem with the society, to be more exact problem with the Indian society
is the fact that they think the more you fight over an agenda, the better
solutions can be figured out. Isn’t it more like fighting a war to bring about
peace?
What I think is, why do we even need to fight for this? I mean why do we even
witness any kind of restrictions on not just the LGBT society but on other
communities as well. It is a free world and India is among the free democratic
birds soaring high up in the limitless sky, so I clearly fail to understand the point
behind restricting people from having affection for each other, to be more to
the point, in loving each other?
It’s a free world, people tend to fall in love with
objects as well. So practically there shouldn’t be a problem in loving human
beings who can very well think, speak and love.
What needs to be highlighted here is the word "human being".
Yes, I
mentioned, falling in love with a human being and not a man or a woman.
'In love with a human being'.
It is high time now, high time for the society, high time for us to break these
chains, these walls of orthodox thinking, walls of gender and the walls of
tradition. High time to break the walls which takes away the freedom of an
individual, to break the walls which restrict the flight of an individual. High time
to accept the fact that everyone is different. And just because not someone is
different does not mean he is defaulted. Know the difference.
So people, get out of your imaginary ideal world and step into this world of
reality. A world which will be created by us. A world where judgments will not
find a room, a world where people will believe in 'love at first sight', a world
where loving a human being will be the priority and not loving a gender.
Let’s
create a world which is ideal for ALL and is a happy place for all and not just for
a particular group of people.
So, Love and let love...
