Kashmir: The Heaven On Earth

Kashmir is one of the most popular and controversial regions of Jammu and Kashmir, India. It is the northernmost region of the Indian subcontinent and is said to be the 'Heaven on Earth'. It is said so because of its beautiful lakes, valleys, alpine mountains, hills, the amazing weather, and many more things. It is one of the wonders on the Earth and literally a magical work of God. The beautiful and pleasant weather all round the year, the hills and the snow, attract a large number of tourists to the city, both Indians and foreigners.

Indians usually hesitate to visit Kashmir, due to the uprising state of terrorism in the state. But it is rather stupid not to visit Kashmir because of this reason. Tourists visit the city all year and there are hardly any issues and their safety is taken care of. And if something were to happen to you, it would happen in the safety of your own house, and if nothing were to happen to you, then nothing can harm you, not even the worst dangers. Also, getting to see this amazing piece of natural beauty is worth a risk. The feeling of being amidst the hills and skiing in the snow will touch your soul and you will get a memory of a lifetime. It is the beautiful scenery which you see in pictures, calendars and wallpapers and dream to be at. It will bring new energies to you and you will feel energetic and much more alive than before.

It is a dream for a lot of people to visit the Kashmiri valleys. Being from West India, I have never seen snow and hardly a pleasant weather. That makes me even more excited to look at the mesmerizing snowfall, to make a snowman or to hit my companions with snowballs. It is all you imagine yourself doing when you think of snow. And Kashmir will give you all of it. Also, to see the beautiful lakes, and to boat in them and appreciate the waterfalls and hear the sound of the water flowing and the wind touching your faces, it will touch your soul deep down to the core.

There are a lot of places in Kashmir that you definitely need to see before you die. To see the huge green mountains and the Dal Lake and to get to know about the state's culture, Srinagar is where you need to go, which is the top destination for tourists in Kashmir. And then if you're an adventurer, visit the adventurer's paradise, Gulmarg. With vibrant flowers and endless snow mountains and pines in the background, you will never want to leave. If you're with your friends, and you're a biker, Leh and Ladakh must be the dream places for you. Seeing the breathtaking views while on a bullet trip to Ladakh and to live and feel the winds, the feeling cannot be expressed in words. Imagining all these things really makes us all want to visit the Earthly Heaven at least once in our lifetime so that we won't die with any regrets but rather with lots and lots of beautiful and unforgettable scenes and memories.

Kashmir is so unbelievably beautiful that once you see it, all the places you have ever visited would start looking dull to you. And it is so exciting to just even thinking of being there, to go on a trip with your friends to Kashmir, it will surely be a trip of a lifetime with a hell lot of memories and a bond increased multiple folds.
