Author - Indrashish Mitra
Overall: 5/5 - mind blowing
This is the first book I have read of this author. I can genuinely say I am pleased. The quality of the work that the book involves is simply mind blowing. A brutal murder of Aditya Tiwari's grandfather forces him to hire a private investigator named Mubeen Roy to look into the case. He follows some clues laid down by his grandfather to uncover the secret unknown to the world for over two millennia.
This book is written by a 18 year old boy and it doesn't seem like his debut novel because his writing is so polished. The book starts with two quotes:
"The truth is not for all men, but only for those who seek it"- Ayn Rand
"Among the tens of thousands of names of monarchs accumulated of the files of history, the name Ashoka shines almost alone like a star" - H.G. Wells
My favourite part is the introduction of the protagonist, Aditya Tiwari. It is so beautifully portrayed. I am in love with the part when he waits for his girlfriend to come. The reactions the author showed us by the character of the Aditya are marvelous. When someone's love is yet to come, we actually hesitate in that way. The clues laid by his grandfather and the suspense which he creates through the entire plot is really amazing. From the very beginning of the novel, we can see that someone is keeping an eye on every action of Aditya.
The rest of the story i will keep for the reader to read and enjoy. This is a book you wouldn't want to miss for anything. Quickly pick up a copy of the book and start reading.
It is an excellent novel and every chapter makes you intensely interesting and it can be read at one sitting as it is very mysterious and you cannot stop yourself from knowing the truths.
It's a delightful insight into the publishing industry. This book is definitely for those who enjoy thrill, suspense, drama and history. It is highly recommended for the thriller lover.
The book is available in Amazon. You can definitely buy it from there as well.
