Countdown has started for the final examination. As exams are on head students start preparing themselves to perform best in exams and get good marks. The thinking about achieving good marks always stick to the head of parents and students. They may have forgotten the real motive of exams that is to know how much the child have to improve. But now it has become a means of comparison between children. High expectations from parents often lead to mental stress among children. Parents want their ward to perform better than other children. It produces pressure in the mind of a child. Exam stress may start when you think that you haven't prepare anything or having pressure from family and friends.

Getting good marks has become a key to get admission in a good college. Or we can say that people start judging students by the rank or marks they have got in examination. Sometimes students do what ends up their life or undergo in depression in high internal or external pressure. Before going for exam stundents need to cope up with the examination stress. For this, parents can play a vital role. Let us know what parents can do for it-

Parents should not create any pressure about exams and studies and try to make a good environment in home. They should take care of their diet and try to keep their ward away from gadgets and internet if they are using it for a long time. Try to be friendly with them, discuss what they have learnt, give them suggestions and go for a walk outside along with them. Never put pressure on them to achieve good marks. If the exam has not gone well, never scold them for that and encourage them to perform better in the other exam.

Students should also take care of themselves during exam days. They should not stick to the books for the whole day. They have to set up a time equally for studies and enjoyment. They can yoga or meditation regularly for relaxation. They often skip their meals and try to capture everything written on books. This led to their mental stress and illness. They should take sufficient sleep drink water regularly. They can take frequent breaks and avoid making hectic schedule. They should not get nervous if their friends have already revised everything.
