It is stated that the first ever projected motion picture (video) in the history was in the year 1895 which ran only for 45 seconds. It did screen the movement of a train, to which people from the hall started hustling each other by assuming that as the real train that entered into the cinema hall. Since then, cine industry has seen a drastic evolution.

In the beginning of the cinema era, each and everyone were excited to see the movement of an object on the screen. As days passed, these movies were accustomed to the people and became the main entertainers for them. The spread of these movies was rapid and everyone was fascinated towards it. This is one of the countable industries that gained the fame and reach within a very short period of time. Having gained the popularity and widespread, the revenue it gained was also substantial. Over a period of a century, the evolution it has gone through is unimaginable.

The impact of cinema on people was in the extend that with the help of the characters that the protagonist and the antagonist played, they were registered in the minds of the people. Was it not the names of the actors that the general audience imbibed but the character roles and the characters that they played. The audience started relating the characters that they had seen on screen to that of the characteristic of a person who played the role.

The influence of cinema was to an extend that having attracted to the acting skill of the actors, a few actors were even elected as the chief ministers of a particular region. Did it not only affect in this way but also in other ways like certain common people had started imitating the actions of the actors and later realised that it was not meant to be followed. In addition to these, there are certain group of people who blindfoldedly follow whatever the actor is preaching.

Most of the moral behaviours and moral activities were circulated among the individuals in the form of the movies and video clips. These movies do not only entertain the people, at certain times they do even educate the people by creating awareness on the social issues that are existing in the society. There were also certain incidents where a video clip or movie has created protests in the country against the government. In spite of the popularity and the reach the movies have gained, movies these days have the capability to even topple the government.
