Imagine an exhausting and tiring week, where you dont have time for yourself or others. The compilation of workload, dominating arguments of boss and assignments and presentations makes life hectic. We all get so absorbed in our lives, that the fine line between work and life gets invisible. This is why weekends are important.
Time for yourself: Today we are so absorbed in workloads that spending time with yourself is really hard. You may have time for others or to go out for office tours but do you remember the last you went out for something that you have interest in. Or may be the last book you read. Weekends give you time for self introspection. It prepares you not to repeat the same mistakes you commited in the last week. You get over the tiring boring days and learn to differentiate between yourself, family and work.
Time for family: Imagine a child whose parents are working. Think of parents whose children are working. Does the coordiantion between familes will be in the same tune? Weekends give you time to go out for a family lunch/dinner with your family and friends. You get to know each other better and the bonds are not deteriorated. The understanding between kids and parents stays connected. Its really hard being a parent, as on one hand you need to work for children and on the other look after them socially and physically. Weekends are imporatnt to coordiante between the two different spaces.
Recreational Time: Nothing can be achieved until you step out to do it. The bonds you craeted cannot be same unless you meet. Weekends are meant to meet and create the best memories to forget all the filth of the week. It is said 'All is well, that ends well'. Similarly weekends make you forget the bad days of the week and enjoy with your family/friends. It is really important to be socially active, as you get to know about your surroundings, other people and yourself.
Prepares you for the coming week: Imagine a week full of work and devoid of sleep. You may feel like to quit everything and get some rest on the peaceful Himalayas. But these feelings are temporary because work is a part of life. Weekends provide you two days to get over these emotions and make you ready to face off the coming challenges. It overcomes your ill feelings and brings that beautiful smile on your face.
Time for other activities: Sometimes students cant cope up with studies in schools or in colleges. They dont get spare time to enhance their skills or learn some new ones. But weekends provides you opportunity to get involved in other activities. You can learn a new language, get admission in a well trained dance institute, improve your vocals and learn an instrument. Or may be join some drama school to enhance your acting skills. It totally depends on your area of interest.
Weekends restores your moments to get relaxed, breathe and take a short break from the busy schedules of your lives. From running around to tackling with problems, it gives you chance to see life beyond irritable days. So regroup with your friends, go on a mini vacation and give your life a healthy space to live.
