Echo Of The First Touch

It is said that human senses can capable enough to let the humans perceive positive or negative vibes around them. Often human touch can incite many emotions and feelings bet it good or bad.

The story of this first touch is itself a history.

This is a story of a boy and girl who were somehow destined to be together but that experience of their first meet turned them into soulmates. The girl is successful in her life with a great job and own house. But as her age to marriage approached, her parents got her a match. But being a self-determined girl she wanted to meet him in person first. Her past experience with boys was not so great and this was the matter of her whole life.

On the other hand, the boy is a well-established entrepreneur looking for a perfect girl who can fill his boring life with her cheerfulness. Already being cheated by numerous girls for his money this time he wanted someone who would go for his heart rather than money. Ultimately he asked his parents to arrange some girl for him and this way destiny brought their families together.

They decided to meet in a random coffee shop. She was sitting inside the shop, waiting for him to show up. After All, it was their first meet. Trying not to be too traditional she chose to wear a cosy formal dress. While waiting for him she saw a guy in his sweatpants and food randomly roaming and searching for something in the lobby outside the mall. Suddenly her phone rang up and it was from the boy she was supposed to meet. He told her he is not able to find the coffee shop. She had a great laugh at that instant. She told him to walk straight up in on his left and she would be there. She went outside to receive him in person so that this time he does not get lost on the entrance.

And there he was.

For a while, their time went into slow motion. Their eyes met for a brief moment and she smiled. What can she do after all she was not able to control her smile.

And on the other side, He was maybe confused with lots of emotions going inside his mind or maybe he was lost in some other dimension. But he did not take his eyes off or moment even. He had never seen anything so cute in his whole life laughing at his stupidity. And as he came close, he extended his hand for a handshake.

She, trying to control all her gut reactions and not letting it burst out at once, politely extended her hand too.

And there happened the first touch.

She being a claircognizant (psychic power of perceiving emotions through touch), perceived warmth towards him. 'This may all turn wrong', her heart warned her and she knew both of them were broken in many ways. Yet after a long, while her heart skipped a beat as he spread his startling smile. She knew this was something beyond coincidence but after this meet somewhere in the deep corner of her heart, she wanted him to be the one.
