Close Family: Bless Or Curse Part 2

Kamini was a really smart person always in the process of observing. In the one month, she lived initially with this family she understood that Aditywa was an honorable man who would never raise voice against his brother or say no to this, Avni had a faulty memory and was easy to manipulate and Avantika and Amber were too naive to understand the deep politics Kamini and her father were about to play on their family. She used Avni's faulty memory to plant the seed of doubt and started her act of panic. Deepak fueled the fire by criticizing Aditywa to have a wife with a flaw and warned him that if something happened due to the loss of matriculation in the counseling he would have to repay for it badly. Aditywa anxiously went himself to check the wardrobe and after finding nothing became even more worried. Here came the Act 2 of this dramatic event when the seed of doubt is watered by a phone call from Kamini's mother, who claimed that the last time she was in that house she saw Avni moving the documents from the wardrobe into her daughter's cupboard. Till this point, Deepak was so much into his act of frustration that he forced Aditywa to allow him to personally check every wardrobe and cupboard of the house. Unable to say no, Aditywa accompanied Deepak for the search.

What happened over the next two hours from 10 p.m to 12 a.m was an absolute horror. When Avantika was narrating this story she described this search event as an Income Tax Raid, where all her house was literally scattered as Deepak and Kamini searched through every cloth, books, jewelry cases and even every corner where some money was hidden by Avni as her savings. Watching all this happen Aditywa and Avni were crying from inside yet were not able to do anything. Even after the search was over and nothing was found, Deepak continued to be agitated and criticized Aditywa to the point where he was broken. Broken just as he was broken when he lost his mother. The break was so intense that he felt a huge pain in his heart and numbness in his left arm. It was an early onset of heart- attack. Avni, terrified of the event and worried for her husband, tried to calm him down and handed him a glass of water.

Exactly at 12.30 a.m, another phone call came from Kamini's mother. It was utter silence in the house as if someone had just died. At 12.45, the phone call ended and Deepak all of a sudden appeared too calm and asked for dinner. Avni and Aditywa were confused about what happened all of a sudden. Both the cunning duo had full stomach chicken meal and the rest four victims unable to gulp a single but went to bed empty stomach. In the bed, even Avni and Aditywa were contemplating about why this all happened. But the real act of guilt was witnessed by Avantika. She overheard Kamini talking to her mother that the document was with her only and was arriving in the morning by train. Avantika knew her father was in a bad situation so she rushed to inform them about what she heard so that they can sleep with relief that they didn't do anything wrong.

Coming back to her room she found Kamini lying down on the bed and using her phone. But when she really lay down to sleep she saw the cunning smile Kamini was giving while texting someone of her phone. And that smile was constant. Avantika knew something was fishy and thought how can this girl smile after whatever she and her father did to their family? Can't she just apologize as she had now found the documents? But to her surprise no apologizes came. Next morning the father and daughter left the house early and later in the evening when Deepak came back after shipping off Kamini, he informed Aditywa that the document was with Kamini's mother all the time and she too had misplaced it somewhere and forgot. Deepak rephrased this horrific event as confusion and asked Aditywa to let go. No apologies, just let go. Though apologies came later from Kamini's mother and brother who defended Kamini and Deepak and asked for forgiveness. But Avni could never forget that Aditywa suffered an attack due to them. So she forgave them but decided to maintain a safe distance. Kamini never turned back to apologize for this event which makes me conclude Kamini as the real mastermind giving shape and execution to her father's plan of boycotting this family in the worst way possible as they were now no use for them.
