The Success Story Of Elon Musk

Introduction

Most of us have heard about Tesla Motors, Space X, The Boring Company and PayPal. Tesla Motors is the king of all the electric car companies. The man we are talking about is the CEO of that company, and this is his success story. Elon Musk is the man who always think out of the box.

Education

During his school time, Elon Musk got bullied and beaten several times. Later, at the age of 17 he moved to Canada to his mother’s relatives. Suffering from poverty, he worked in some low paid jobs, then he got a scholarship from Pennsylvania University and shifted to United States.

Journey from Failure to Success

Elon Musk after moving United States got a seat in Ph.D. at Stanford University, which he dropped out to start a company. He borrowed some money from his father and started a company called Zip2. Due to lack of money and resources, he used to sleep in the company office. After 4 years he sold that company. This is how he got a start.

Laterhe started an another company called X.com and after sometime it turned into PayPal due to merging with a competitor. He got fired from his own company. Later it was purchased by eBay for which Musk got a huge amount and he became rich.

Using that money, he bought a McLaren and a Private Jet. At that time Tesla Motors was in a position of bankruptcy but Elon Musk invested 80 million dollars in it and became its CEO. At first it was a failure, there was a lot of negativity about the brand but Musk never gave up. He fought back. He worked hard and made bold decisions wherever and whenever needed, and made the company a car giant. They are now manufacturing the world’s fastest car- Tesla Roadster 2.0.

Similarly, In the case of Space X, it was a failure in the beginning. They tried to launch their first rocket but failed three times and had loss of millions of dollars. At that time Musk had lost almost all his money. Fortunately, their fourth attempt got succeeded. Thereafter they got a deal from NASA and from then they never turned back and became the first private company to send a spacecraft to International Space Station.

Elon Musk is the real Iron Man. He is a warrior. He has a ' never give up attitude'. He works very hard and give his 80-100 hours of a week to work. During an interview he said that-

“My mentality is that of a samurai, I would rather commit seppuku than fail”.
