SUN, the biggest source of energy to this planet, is sometimes too hard on us, especially in the summers. Apart from the obvious vitamin D supply, each phase of the sun has a different effect on human beings. The sun for only having negative effects on our health, it does have positive effects on our overall good health.

POSITIVE EFFECTS
Enhances your mood
There are many good benefits from sun rays, including that it is also a mood enhancer. Being in the sun can make you have more energy and feel better. It increases the level of serotonin in the brain responsible for improved mood.

Relieves stress

Everyone experiences everyday stress from various factors like family, work and health issues. It says stress can be relieved including exercise, having stress relaxing hobbies, walking your pet and getting out to have little sun exposure.

Vitamin D

It involves vitamin D in maintaining the health of bone strength. One way this sun vitamin is exposure to the UV light from the sun. However, to reap the sun benefits only 15mins of sun exposure is enough for all the vitamin D you need.

NEGATIVE/HARMFUL EFFECTS

Sun damage to eyes
For long-term, unprotected sun exposure to UV light can damage the retina. The retina at the back of the eye where the visual image forms. Damage from sunlight causes the development of cloudy bumps, which grow over the cornea and prevent clear vision.
