Drifting in cold state,
The glowing crack of old days
Running down through the reminiscence with bare feet,
The memories were so sweet
Everyday was so precious,
As young girls and boys we were so ambitious
Gazing back at childhood
I remember how parents were against falsehood
Recalling how creative I was in making excuses
Which helped me escape the scolding bruises
I remember how leaders were my inspiration
Who served my imagination, dreams and aspirations
I remember how I stole coins to fill up my pocket
And they were just to fullfill my cravings for chocolate
I remember the park where I used to swing
Holding those strings of the swing I used to sing
And we certainly grew up somewhere between believing the moon was following the car from the sky
To realising that it remained constantly above and high
Those were the happy carefree days
Much better than the current phase
Today we are chasing away ourselves away from responsibilities
Making us lead our lives in hostilities
Childhood was the most beautiful season of all
Memories of it is still protecting us from downfall
