Stand Up.

We are a lazy generation. Potato chips and movies on the couch is our go-to leisure activity after a tiring working day. Blinded by all the hustle that's happening around us, we often fail to stand up and look for what we truly want. We have stopped standing up for our culture when something foreign seems fancy and new. We have stopped standing up for our dreams when the society tells us they were pointless. We have stopped standing up for things that we loved because someone told us that sacrifices were essential in life. We have stopped standing up to our bullies when a stranger makes us believe that we were weaker. We have stopped standing up against toxic relationships because we believed that we don't deserve better. We have stopped standing up for people who matter because we were so busy flattering those who didn't.

Standing up for yourself is not a choice, it's a necessity. Stand up for your thoughts when everyone else in the room isn't ready to take you seriously. Stand up for your mental health when you realize you're being fed negativity in the name of love. Stand up for your self respect when you know that this is not the way that you should be treated. Stand up for your dreams because we've all got one life to live and there should be nothing that you must regret when you're lying in your death bed. Stand up for someone you love and let them know that they're never alone. Stand up against all the injustice you see around, because someday you might be a victim of a crime that you just chose to ignore. Stand up for the truth, even if you're the only one fighting for it. Stand up for your values when you know you're being forced to do something that your conscience doesn't agree with. Stand by a person during their tough days because we're all born out of love and it won't hurt to spread some. Stand up for yourself, because nobody else will do it for you.

Stand, because it is a virtue of the brave.

Stand, because it is a powerful act.

Stand, because it is a sin to sleep in the face of evil.

Stand-because if you don't, the world will stomp all over you and move on.
