What is sweating?

Sweating is a phenomenon that release the water contents of our body when we perform movements of some intensity. We all have sweat glands in our bodies and the only difference is the activeness of those glands which make some people sweat more while others very less.

It's importance

Apart from the natural ways of sweating in the heat, there are ways that are more helpful. Exercising is one way that not only helps us sweat but also boosts our cardio vascular health. Sweating has many benefits which we do not really talk about.Sweating in public do make us feel embarrassed as we need to deal with the partial body odour of ours. But, what we will learn today are few of the benefits that sweating provides to the human body:

1.Sweating helps in boosting immunity of the human body. The sweat glands produce a chemical along with the sweat into our body which helps in fighting infections. Thus, it helps in strengthening our immune system and makes us stay away from various diseases.

2.Sweat glands are also known for releasing “feel good” hormones into our body. These hormones enable us to feel positive and more energetic after we have sweated out after our gym sessions or other activities.

3.Sweating is a detoxicating phenomenon of our body. When sweats are released through the pours of our skin, it is not only the water that comes out, but along with it are the toxic wastes of our body which are released. It helps our internal organs to stay clean and healthy.

4.Sweating helps in obtaining a clear skin. More we sweat, the clearer and brighter our skin looks. It prevents our pours from blocking and keeps them fresh. Thus, it makes our skin glow.

These are few of the many benefits that sweating provides. Sweating out in the gym or sweating otherwise are not signs of being stinky, but are signs of being a healthy human being. Therefore, the nest time we hit the gym or perform our routine exercises at home, we must remember that the more we sweat, healthier we become.
