It was is not always a problem but when they interrupt your life on a huge scale than they become a problem for you. Negative opinions and mindset is a common trait found in colleagues, but it doesn't mean that you don't get good ones. There are many colleagues who prove to be very helpful.

Here are some tricks to help yourself in a situation where you are unable to escape from these types of Colleagues:

1) Leave the conversation

Many times you get stuck in when you are unable to control your emotion so in that case, it is, better to leave the conversation. These types of conversation include pointing out the negative traits of you or the anothotherbitching, etc. So, in this case, it's better to leave the conversation.

2) Set your standards

Setting your standards in the workplace means knowing and setting your limits. This could only be possible if you work very hard and achieve every small and big goal in the organization. If you become that kind of employee in the organization that only you can set your standards, and everyone will be bound to respect your decisions.

3) Speak politely but directly

Always wear a hat of politeness in your talks, which will help you to comfort the other person and makes him believe in your words. Don't try to stretch the talk because speaking directly will help you to maintain your standards. Make your thoughts always clear and don't let anyone enter into your personal boundaries.

4) Try separating your personal and professional boundaries

When you are in an organisation that you are totally involved in a professional environment. You can't always give your personal reasons for your incomplete work. Sometimes, it may help but it won't help you in the long run. Try to maintain the decorum of both the personal and professional world.

5) Limit your boundaries

When you are going to limit your boundaries than it doesn't mean you are not going to speak with anyone or stay away from everyone in the organization but it simply means just speak that much which is required and move on. Getting too much indulged in chatting with everyone won't help you instead it will waste your time.

If you try to opt these qualities then you won't be a problem for anyone in the organization, and you will be easily capable of solving other's problem.
