Reading Books V/S Travelling

If given a choice between reading books and travelling we often will prefer to travel. Though both are good options for broadening our minds, to feel refreshed, to explore ourselves and get knowledge.

“The more that you read the more things you will know. The more that you learn the more places you will go.”

Reading Books:
“Books are the plane, and the train and the road. They are the destination. And the journey we travel through home.”

1.Books are easily provided to everyone, be it rich or poor.
2.People who cannot travel can also travel places through books.
3.It helps to grow our Imagination, the more books we read the more imaginative we are.
4.Books are one true friend anyone can ever have. They will always be with you, guide you the right way and make you travel a lot of places just by sitting in one corner, they even helps you to widen your thoughts, and imaginations.

5.If you have free time but not as much as to travel you can always read books.
6.They cost less. Take less place and you can always borrow or read it in libraries if you don’t want to buy it.

Travelling

“Travelling is brutality. It forces you to trust strangers and to lose sight of all the familiar comforts of home and friends. You are constantly off balance. Nothing is yours except the essential things. Air, Sleep, Dream, The sea, The sky- all things tending towards the eternal or what we imagine of it.”

1.Travelling is not just a journey but more like a practical. The things you learnt in books you are practically seeing it, you can feel them.

2.Travelling helps you to trust strangers, make you believe in yourself, make you learn what struggles look like.

3.Travelling is not all about learning it is also about making memories. Memories that we will always remember. We can forget what we learn theoretically but we can never forget what we learn practically.

4.Travelling helps you to feel free, refresh yourself, explore yourself, and helps you to be you.
5.It is expensive, everyone cannot afford to travel.
