Being Beautiful

What makes you beautiful?
It could be your eyes, lips, crooked teeth, or just the way you choose to be. But are we allowed to decide what makes us beautiful? This SOCIETY doesnt grant me permission to choose the definition of beautiful that I want.

This patriarchal society have taught us to look beautiful for someone else, for someone else to admire. My criticism is not for getting ready or doing self care. I'm against people deciding what makes you beautiful. No one can and should tell me how to look beautiful. It should be me who decides for myself.

From the childhood itself we are told to be "ideal". like ideal(?) body type, zero figure, perfect figure, perfect attitude or even perfect language! but why should I be like this? what if I choose to be "messy" and not "perfect"?

You are not here to look beautiful for someone else. I choose to look beautiful the way I am!
