Who taught us the skill of eating, feeding, caring, learning? Were we born with these skills instilled in us? No, it is was none but our mothers who taught us these basic things. Mothers are the most precious gift of God and a mother is someone who makes her life struggling only to make her children’s life struggle free. She is the most selfless protector in one’s life. As James Joyce said…

“Whatever else is unsure in this stinking dunghill of a world a mother’s love is not.” RupiKaur, a famous Indian writer, beautifully honours the value of a mother in few verses:

I struggle so deeply
To understand
How someone can
Pour their entire soul
Blood and energy
Into someone without
Wanting anything in return.
I’ll have to wait till I’m a mother.

First Sunday of may is celebrated as mother’s day in many parts of the world in order to pay tribute to all the mothers.Every religionportrays the importance and value of mother. Prophet Muhammad SAW narrated that Paradise lies beneath the feet of mother. Gautam Bhudda said that Love the whole world as a mother loves her only child.

A mother is someone who cries when her child cries, who rejoices when her child is happy, whose heart is drenched with pain when her child is in danger. No matter how bad or imperfect we’re, the only person who’ll still love us are our mothers who possess unconditional love for their children. She is someone who forgives you for your small or big mistakes. She tenderly sways away all our fears. We must love our mothers, not only on mother's Day, but everyday. They enrich our lives with their love. And sometimes it feels like their love is a mystery. How can someone love you without wanting anything in return?

But unfortunately we see old ages housing getting more and more active with each passing day. It’s sad that we can’t even take care of the people who made us enter this world and taught us to get up and walk even when we fell down. No love can substitute the love of a mother for her children. Similarly, a child's love for her mother can't be substituted. No matter how old we grow, we’ll always be young little teens in their eyes.Let’s take a pledge to love, respect and value our mothers because they’re next to God.
